Healthy Swaps
For some of us, we already know that we just simply can't resist that cookie or that cheesy dish of pasta. I firmly believe in adding healthy ingredients or making healthy swaps to give your body the nutrients that it needs.
Some healthy swaps that I work into my meals include:
Sour Cream replaced with Plain Greek Yogurt
Lower sodium and add herbs/spices instead
Homemade sauces/soups (lower in sodium)
Whole grain pasta
Great additions:
- Flax seed, chia seeds, hemp hearts, sunflower seeds, nuts, oats
